United Veterans Beacon House is a leading Long Island nonprofit dedicated to serving veterans in crisis. Founded in 1994, the organization provides emergency, transitional, and permanent supportive housing along with intensive case management and comprehensive supportive services that help veterans overcome homelessness and rebuild their lives with dignity and stability. Through 58 housing locations and community based programs, Beacon House supports veterans experiencing homelessness while also assisting those living independently with resources, case management and services that help prevent homelessness and promote long term stability.
